If your vehicle is driven aggressively, is used on track, or has aftermarket sport shocks or wide wheels, your vehicle should have these AKG reinforcements.
If you are hearing squeaks, rattles, clunking sounds, or experiencing poor rear end handling because of excessive deflection, this is one area to upgrade.
This simple plate fits on top of the chassis sheet metal and allows the stress from the shock mount mounting bolts to be more evenly distributed, and helps prevent shock tower failure.
