Planted Technology Reinforcement Plate
When mounting a racing safety harness to sheet metal, a reinforcement plate on the opposite side of the sheet metal is essential to prevent the mounting eyebolt from pulling up through the thin metal.
The Planted Technology Reinforcement Plate uses a 7/16" - 20 nut welded all the way around to an 1/8" thick piece of steel measuring 2" x 3" and then powder coated black.
Reinforcing an automotive harness mounting point is essential when the location has not been engineered by the original automobile manufacturer to support a safety harness.
Planted Technology Reinforcement Plate is recommended when installing a harness in a non-factory location.
