6-piece set

This intensive project requires professional installation for proper fitment. AKG Motorsport recommends using a body shop experienced in BMW E46 subframe reinforcement and repair. DIY is NOT recommended.

Subframe surface must be cleaned down to bare metal, removing all rustproofing, undercoating and paint. Studs (refer to following photo) which interfere with the plate sitting flat on subframe must be removed from the subframe and re-welded onto the reinforcement plates.

AKG Motorsport does not recommend using any epoxy method for install; their reinforcements are designed to be welded in.
