Conventional 4 point restraints do not join at a center Cam Lock, they are sewn to lap belts leaving them almost 6-8 inches apart from each other. The design of the Quick Fit Pro is such that both shoulder belts angle in towards the Cam Lock facilitating use with a HANS Device.

Like the Standard Quick Fit Harnesses, the Quick Fit Pro clicks into the car’s female seat belt receptacles. This alerts the airbag computer to the fact that someone is in the seat and restrained, as well as takes advantage of the seat belt pre-tensioner. This device ignites a pyrotechnic charge in the event of an accident that will tighten the lap belt. This integration into the factory safety system is a very important part of the Schroth Quick Fit Pro.

These harnesses are designed to be used in stock seats that have passed a seat back strength test. Now you don’t have to spend $3,000 on a Rollbar, seats & harnesses just to benefit from the safety of a HANS Device. With the Schroth Quick Fit Pro, the shoulder belts capture the HANS device correctly and the Anti-Submarining (ASM) Technology firmly plants the hips back in the seat on the rebound phase. This is what keeps you from sliding under the lap belts.

The Schroth Quick Fit Pro Harness is intended only for installation at the left and right outboard front seating positions of designated BMW and MINI model passenger cars which have been specifically evaluated by SCHROTH engineers for anchor points locations and suitability of available front seats.  These belts are only approved for use in the designated BMW model in conjunction with the factory provided seat and factory provided DOT mounting points.  This belt must not be used if either the seat and/or the factory mounting locations or mounting hardware have been changed or modifies in any way.  Not intended or suited for use by children under 12 years of age, or persons who weight less than 88 lbs or those who are less than 4'11" tall regardless of age.  These belts, when properly installed and used according to applicable instructions can mitigate injury.
