New 36mm or 38mm Tee Joint for installing a temperature sensor in your cooling system. This adapter will work with any radiator hose with a 36mm or 38mm (+/-1mm) upper radiator hose.

Threads for the temperature sensor are 1/8inch NPT, which is standard for all VDO and autometer senders.

With this adapter you will not need to drill into your head or thermostat housing to install a temperature sender, which can be a difficult task. If you make a mistake there, it could be an extremely expensive one.

If you ever want to remove the sensor to return the car to stock form, you will need to replace the part that you drilled. (or plug the hole and hope nobody notices.) With the adapter, you can simply replace the hose that was cut for installing the adapter.
