Powerflex Urethane Bushings E46 3 Series (99-05)

 Powerflex polyurethane bushings are designed to decrease the amount of deflection in your car's suspension for better handling, driver feedback, and tire wear. Powerflex uses premium polyurethane materials for minimal NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) and increased longevity over the stock rubber bushings. The quality of Powerflex products can be seen the moment you open the box: premium polyurethane, detailed moldings, lube holding grooves and knurls, and 304 stainless sleeves. In many applications (if noted in diagram), we have polyurethane engine/drivetrain mounts and reinforcements to reduce movement for better throttle response and more power to the wheels.

Powerflex bushings do not come in complete chassis kits. Our bushings come à la carte to fit each customer's needs. An automobile's bushings and mounts wear at different rates making "complete-kit" bushing sets unnecessary for many car owners. Replacing only the "weak links" in your car's suspension is a great way to tighten handling without stressing the budget. Bushings come in pre-determined durometers (measured hardness) engineered to reduce bushing deflection while keeping NVH to an absolute minimum. Some locations have an optional stiffer durometer material for an even higher level of performance and feedback.Each kit is supplied with a copper-based grease for extended squeak-free operation.  Powerflex copper-based grease is supplied with every dynamic product. We suggest using only a copper-based grease for lubrication. Due to grooves and knurls cast into the material to hold the lubricant, bushings will rarely need re-lubing. We do not suggest using an "anti-seize" product for lubrication.

• PFF5-4601 is designed to fit the 66mm bore front wishbone lollipop, the most common E46 non-///M bushing
• PFF5-4601 w/housing: Front control arm bushing is pressed into an OEM housing (does not fit Xi or M3)
• PFF5-4601M3 is M3 specific due to the increased size of control arm hex
• PFF5-4601M3 w/housing: (///M3 specific) pressed into an OEM housing
• PFF5-4601-60 is designed to fit the 60mm bore front wishbone lollipop on early E46 cars; we suggest upgrading to the 66mm housings

• PFR5-3608/4608 - Powerflex provides one part number for this fitment, which indicates E36 model cars.  BMW uses the same part number for E36, E46, and Z4 (just like Powerflex) and the E36 part is correct for all of these applications.
