With a RECARO seat you don’t have to decide between ergonomics, safety, comfort or design. Because these four cornerstones of RECARO quality are inseparable and are central to the development of products. RECARO racing shells offer outstanding product characteristics through their unique construction, the use of high-quality raw materials and excellent processing. All shells are manufactured completely and entirely by hand! Two special materials are used to produce the typical and often imitated moulds of the RECARO racing shell: high strength, glass fibre reinforced plastic (GRP) and ultra-light Carbon-Kevlar®, which achieves the highest possible strength hrough its structure. Like all safety-relevant components, the finishing techniques tried and tested in aircraft manufacture are subjected to the most rigorous testing as well as a secondary thermal treatment. This process provides the shells with their extreme load capacity and still maintains the lowest possible weight. The latest in modern technology is applied to make sure the material is protected during the final processing steps.
