Use the Hidden Power Plug to add a lighter socket. It's the easiest way to clean up all the power cords in your car
You can make your portable GPS look as clean as it would installed at the factory in just a few minutes. Whether you use one of our creative and adjustable FlexPod mounts or are still working with the suction cup, you can still get rid of the clutter of power cords in your car.
To get your device wiring hidden you'll need to start with our hidden power plug. The plug is a socket just like the cigarette lighter socket already in you car, that comes with quick connect tabs.
To install it; you clip it's two blue connectors to the existing wires running to the original lighter socket. Then you can plug your device's car power adapter to your new Hidden Power Adapter instead of the socket on top of the console. Now the cord to your device can be easily tucked away behind the interior paneling.
In most cases you will not need to take anything else apart while hiding the wires until they reach your device. Your original lighter socket will still be fully operational and free for other needs. The final result is just a better, cleaner look.
This product also follows our FlexPod principals, it can be removed just as easily at it was installed without leaving any scars.
Need an Extra Power Adapter for your devise? If you are planning to charge your iPod or iPhone, you may want an extra iPod power cord hidden away under the counsole ready for use. Hide one of our iPod power cords. The cord comes in Apple white, but you'll have it hidden anyway.
Would you like a FlexPod with that? If you are still using suction cups to hold the navigational devices in your vehicle you are dealing with unnecessary risks. Your devices could be held more securely, eliminating damage to the device from falling as well as the distraction of a GPS falling on you while driving. You could also have a better view of both the road and the device than you do when you succumb to the limitations of windshield mounts, minimizing hazardous situations behind the wheel. Vehicle GPS theft can also be mitigated; even when you remove the suction cup and hide everything when the car is parked you are still leaving the telltale circle marks on the window telling everyone that you have a GPS hidden in the car. Putting the GPS onto the FlexPod is much quicker, more consistent and easier than re-affixing the suction mount all the time
